Stunning wearable art accessories by Pia Zanaboni will be shown on the runway at Couture Fashion Week along with the latest collection by designer Andres Aquino. The fashion show will be held at 8:00 pm on Saturday September 7, 2013 in the Grand Ballroom or The New Yorker Hotel, 481 Eighth Avenue in New York City.

An accomplished artist, sculptor, photographer and designer, Pia Zanaboni was born in Argentina grew up in Italy, and has had a passion for the arts since a young age. After moving back to Argentina some years ago, Ms. Zanaboni has exhibited her art in group and solo shows in her native country as well as in Miami, New York and Santa Barbara in the USA, and in Korea, Greece, Spain and Italy.

Her photographic projects include a study of the condition and restoration of the historic buildings of Trinidad, Cuba. Her architectural photographs have been published by specialized magazines in Madrid and Buenos Aires. Ms. Zanaboni has coordinated many cultural activities for the Italian Consulate in Mendoza, Argentina, where she has worked since 1988.

In addition to her many artistic projects, Ms. Zanaboni is also a writer. In 2007 she published her first children's book entitled “Album of the Grape and the Wine."
