Couture Fashion Week Partners with Healing the Children Northeast
At the New Yorker Hotel, New York, NY
September 5^th – September 8^th, 2013

September, 2013 – New York, NY. Andres Aquino, fashion designer and producer-founder of COUTURE FASHION WEEK, has announced that the prestigious New York fashion event will be partnering with non-profit organization, HEALING THE CHILDREN NORTHEAST (HTCNE) for its September 2013 season. The objective is to raise awareness and funds in support of HTCNE.

Based in New Milford, Connecticut, HTCNE provides free surgical, dental and medical treatment to children in need, around the corner and around the world. Teams of dedicated surgeons, physicians, dentists, nurses and medical technicians contribute their extraordinary skills to these efforts in the United States and abroad. Healing the Children Northeast’s missions have been to China, Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Colombia, India, and Brazil to name a few. HTCNE has treated over 42,000 children who had nowhere else to turn.

The event will be held at The New Yorker Hotel, 481 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10001 on Thursday, September 5th through Sunday, September 8th, 2013. Representatives of HTCNE will be available to provide additional information about upcoming missions and accept donations. A silent auction is planned.

Now in its 18^th season, Couture Fashion Week is an exclusive event showcasing runway fashion shows by exceptional couture and luxury designers for an audience of upscale consumers, invited VIPs, and selected high-end store buyers. The multi-day event presents diverse and exquisite collections from around the world. There will also be exhibits of luxury products/services and fine art, receptions, after parties, VIP dinners, and world-class entertainment. Hundreds of spectators are expected to attend during the event, as well as press coverage reaching millions worldwide. Mr. Aquino’s collection for Spring 2014, entitled "Légende de la Belle", is inspired by one of the poems from Mr Aquino’s upcoming book of art and poetry, scheduled for publication in 2014.
